Life: A Twisted Story

It makes me wonder why God makes life hard. Don’t you think so? We want to get an 'A' for that particular subject, but somehow after struggling like hell, at the end of the day, we don’t get what we deserved. Or at least we think we deserve. We say to our friends that ‘our friendship is forever’ but the next minute, they turn into our biggest enemy.

But that is life. It doesn’t happen according to our own wants and needs. Well, at least I think so, because I really had enough in life to proof that. But I don’t think I want to meddle in my own past. Trust me; it is not inspiring... hahha.

What about others stories.

All of us know our greatest victory of all in year 2007 was getting to send an astronaut of our own to the ISS. It is everything like we planned. They sent him to Russia for a rigorous training. Making him do all the things that I think quite ridiculous like making teh tarik in zero gravity and all. But, the Malaysian government and people were very much looking so proud, to finally have their own so called astronaut.

Every one of 25 million Malaysians held their head high and saw the inspiring story that we think were made by us. People of all religion prayed for his success. Prayers were even held in temples and churches even though the astronaut is a Muslim. He flew away and came back. Safely. As planned. ‘It was a fantasy story’, some said.

But as soon as he arrived, ‘life’ kicked back in. God showed to us directly that He is the Most Powerful. Dr Sheikh Muszaffar’s younger brother passed away! His name was Sheikh Mustafa. He died after coma when he accidentally hit his head onto something when he was entering a restaurant.

Can you imagine that? A person goes all the way to the space some 350 km away into the sky, stayed there for a week, and came back, just fine. And his brother who goes into a restaurant to have lunch, just died like that.

And this is what makes living in this world more unique for all of us. We plan something but in a split of a second, all we planned crashes and something else happens. And to just say that this is just coincidence is not true at all. By this, we can actually ‘see’ and experience the truth and the power of God. I am not at all a ‘religious’ person nor I studied Islam in depth, but I truly know from my ‘own world’ that when these things happens, God is showing that He cares for me and He thinks that this is the right thing for me, even though I don’t like it.

When I am experiencing something, good or bad, I must realise that this wont be forever.
This is just my planning. How about His?

This is His body and soul that were given to me. So, it is His.
Life is never about me. Life is just not about my stories.
So, what life is?
And so I realise…

That,
LIFE IS NOTHING BUT A SERIES OF TWISTED STORIES.
