fight as usual

it had been a while since i last wrote here..

despite various 'attempts' by one of my friend to write blogs on a daily basis, i had refrained myself from doing so..
it is just that,i don't want to obsessed with these whole blog mania..
hhahah.. no offence to my crazy bloggers..

i mean, i don't get this whole become-best-friends-after-reading-ur-blog thing..
how in the world people can straight away become friends and trust them to the length that they can even go out and see each other..

well, tell me i am old fashioned or narrow minded, i don't care,, thats what i think..
which remembers me the problem happened in my family a few weeks back, my brother sent an sms to a cousin of mine..just teasing her about her wedding coming this Feb..
but it turned out to be a very big problem..

and mind u.. when i say it is big.. it is DAMN BIG>.

Our family is a very close knit..u just can see when my family gathers. Everyone will be invited and the bigger problem is everyone will come. Haha.. sometimes i don't even know who they are.. but they talk to each other.. with all bright unusually-seen kinda colours of saris, t shirts, kurtas, baju melayus and baju kurungs.. (which makes me dizzy)

the thing is, when a problem arises, everyone is hurt.. it just connects and gives the impact to everyone.. just like a set of ten pin in bowling.. when u hit the most front pin, all or most of the pins will fall too..
(a bad analogy.. sorry)

this happened in my family too..

after my brother sent the sms to my cousin, she was stressed.. (by some other thing).. so she got angry and told her mother..

her mother called my house and talked to my mother.. they yelled like crazy, i didn't bother and continued watching CSI on the tv..

shouting stops, and i thought it went away,
things got worse, they met in another relatives house, my aunt accused our family of something and my mother yelled back something..
i don't quite get the problem occurred among them..

then my grandma had to take part coz it is damn fun shouting at each other moreover to their own daughters..
if things weren't worse enough, our dads start to get phone calls from each other..
my father shot and they shot back too..
it is rather a very discomforting time..


now the whole family is getting this tense thing in their mind every time they meet each other, anxious whether they got to be prepared for yet another debate on 'y ur son sent my daughter this sms/email/letter' (tick wherever needed)


but as a malay saying goes by, “air dicincang takkan putus” which loosely means “water cant be broken” or philosophically, family ties will never break coz it is a damn hard bond..
after a few weeks of no talks and visits, suddenly, they came to our house, to invite us to their daughters wedding.. the same girl which my brother sent sms's to!!


they didn't talk a lot, just said important things like 'do come', ' our daughter is like urs too', and other stuff..
after all the formalities, my mother started the 'debate', my aunt shot back and suddenly everyone is talking at a very high pitching!

Hmm. What happened to all the formalities?well, they continue to fight, but they are still sisters, we are still cousins, and they are still our aunts and uncles, we are still a damn big family..

at the end of the day, we are still going to their house and meet them coz my brother is getting married this march and we need to invite them..

and the fighting will continue...
